Puppy Training in your own home...

Fun With Dogs offer one to one training for puppies in your own home and local area. The perfect solution if you are unable to make it to traditional puppy training classes or want a more personalised puppy training package.

 

Puppies can start training at any time from 8 weeks of age, you do not need to wait for them to have their full course of initial vaccinations as we will be training in your own home initially.

 

The training will include positive reward based fun learning both in your home and out in your local area.

 

Sessions can include all this and more:

 

• Good manners such as:

  • Not jumping up

  • Good greeting behaviour

  • Coming when called

  • Walk nicely on a lead

  • Settle

• Good housetraining habits such as:

  • Toilet training

  • Not Chewing

  • Not Barking

  • Not Stealing

• Basic Training such as:

  • Sit, Down, Stand

  • Wait

  • Leave

  • Handling/Grooming

 

We offer a range of options to suit your needs:

3 or 5 X Half Days Package - This package gives you 3 or 5 Half Day Sessions over a 2 week period. Each session will last around 3 hours (morning or afternoon). We can work on all the basic training exercises and good manners that your puppy needs, progressing through each session. These packages are ideal for puppies of all ages from 8 weeks.

Weekend Package - This package gives you a whole weekend (Saturday and Sunday) to work on a variety of training exercises and good manners with your puppy. Each day will last up to 6 hours. We can spend the day with you helping you to start teaching your puppy some basic training exercises, whilst talking you through housetraining and good manners during a normal day for you and your puppy. We would recommend this package for puppies over 5 months of age.

5 or 7 Day Bespoke Intensive Puppy Training Week - Your trainer will spend every day with you helping you to teach your puppy all the basic training exercises and encouraging good manners and housetraining throughout the week. Ideal if you have never had a dog/puppy before or would like some regular on the spot help with your puppy. Each day will last between 4 and 6 hours dependent upon how much your puppy can cope with.

• 7 Day Package - from £1750

• 5 Day Package - from £1250

• Weekend Package - Saturday and Sunday - from £600

• 3 X Half Days Package - 3 Sessions in a 2 Week period - from £495

• 5 X Half Days Package - 5 Sessions in a 2 Week period - from £800

If you have taken on two puppies together then there is no additional cost to pay but we would recommend the 5 or 7 Day Intensive Training as there is a lot more work involved in training two pups at once.

What is included in the cost of a Bespoke Intensive Puppy Training Package?

 

If you book one of our Bespoke Intensive Training Packages we will provide everything you need for the training sessions apart from your dog's normal food.

 

If we feel your dog would benefit from a different type of collar, harness or lead from the one you normally use, we will buy a high quality replacement, specially fitted if required. If we recommend a particular toy or other piece of equipment for your dog we will provide this as part of our service up to the following limits:

5 or 7 Day Package - maximum £150 of product

Weekend Package - maximum of £75 of product

3, 5, 7 or 10 x Half Days Package - maximum of £75 of product

Free follow up support is offered for the lifetime of your dog via telephone or email.
